Hi Martin,
I guess you meant to write K8E S2865 - as I was able to find the Tyan
manual for that one where it sets it out on page 5:
Integrated LAN Controllers
One Broadcom BCM5721 GbE controller
- Operating at x1 PCI-E interface
- ASF 2.0 support
- Pin headers for front panel LAN LED
One nForce4 integrated MAC with
Marvell 88E1111-CAA Gigabit Ethernet PHY
- 32bit PCI v2.3 interface
- IEEE802.3 compliant, WOL/PXE support
- Pin headers for front panel LAN LED
Looks like a nice server motherboard - was it expensive?
There is a jumper set JP5/6 on the motherboard that allows you to enable
LAN2 - see pages 12-14 where it says: "Support ASF2.0, for LAN2 only
(Default)"
It seems funny to see those two rivals - nVidia and ATI both on the same
board!
Are you using the B.57 driver or the GenMAC Windoze wrapper -my
NetXtreme here has a 4-5 seconds , maybe more, delay if using the
GenMAC driver, none with the B57 native OS/2-eCS one.
Regards,
Mike
