 Yes, V.34 does allow for Split Speeds (As the ASL did in USR modems for
YEARS!), but there are a lot of V.34 modems that do not allow for split speeds
:(..  Pitty, Because I have seen 19k2/28k8 connects, With no split speed you
are stuck on 19k2/19k2...
