subject: Beta -22 bug?

Yo Pc-tech!
I recently upgraded my SFM 28.8 external (datapump 05BA) to beta -22 without
any problems, except for the fact that 31k2 and 33k6 are slower than 28k8.
But I just had something strange happening: I tried to call to my ISP using
the OS/2 Warp Internet Dialer (as I always do), but after the connect (a
28.8/21.6) the PPP connection failed.
I redialed and I suddenly noticed that the supra "screen saver" (the one with
DT/115) was activated. The modem dialed the number (I suppose). Then, in the
log window, the following appeared:
06397:AA0000
06440:AA0100
The connect failed (NO CARRIER, because I don't have the speaker turned on, I
don't know what the handshake sounded like). AT%q2 reported Carrier loss
afterwards.
Here's some info about the modem:

BTW: the above profile is from right after the "crashed call".
The init strings used by the dialer are:
ATI2E1Q0V1W2X4Y&C1&D2&K3
AT&Q5&R&S1&T5\\N3S7=60S37=0+esr=1
I'm using the SIO comm drivers version 1.55 with an UART 16550A and locking
the port at 115200 bps (never had any problems with this).
Ahem, I just tried another dial, here's the result of "debug codes" (these
were printed during the handshake, which of course failed):

Meanwhile, the "screen saver is still active. I'm going to power cycle the
modem. See next message for the rest.
