    I get that when I pass nearby a local FM tower and a bit on down
    the road when I pass near a water tower, both with rental mount
    antennas sticking out.  It's an annoying "eeek-eeek-eeek-eeek"
    sound on all my UHF channels, and occasionally a VHF channel.
    Sometimes, though, it shows up when I'm out in what appears to
    be a clear area -- I can't see any towers or tall structures
    which would support antennas.  It disappears if there is a
    transmission on the frequency, but frequently I can hear some
    transmissions and conversations under the "eeek-eeek".
