I've been following this thread for a while, and I can't help but wonder if
there was a reason for these "easter eggs" or are they just cute things for
us to play with in our "spare" time?

Robby,

Well, the reason for easter eggs is that programmers like to have some fun
too. (g) This and old tradition with programmers. Many programs also have
easter eggs. Several that I recall is e.g....1) Windows 3.1 will show four
different cartoons of Bill G? when the mouse is clicked in the right
places. One picture has a beard, another glasses, ect. 2) Procomm 2.12
will show of all the programs in either text format or pictures. Most of
them have beards.

Please don't ask me to details on the procedures as I tried then once
and did not keep a copy of the routine. I am sure there must be lists out
there detailing known easter eggs though. Try a search on the Internet or
a large BBS download file library.

Patrick.... I talked with you a few months ago about the upgrade to the
new 33.6 SupraFax modems. You had said it maybe in the fall when Supra
will offer the upgrades.
To refresh your memory, I have the SupraFax V.34 with the old datapump
that isn't upgradeable by flash. Everything I have seen is $40.00 to the
general public. Have you all put in place any program for your old
sysops that have been following you for years now with upgrades so don't
get stuck with the $40.00 charge. I have 2 lines here and I'm looking at
$80.00 plus shipping and handling. Is there a break offered yet?
