My take is that there's a BIG difference between a threat expressed
DIRECTLY to a person, at close range, and a generalized ranting on the
electronic highway to the world in general.
How's this guy -- and you point out -- going to carry out his "threat?"
Is he going to reach through the keyboard, and strangle his target? :-)
A threat cannot be credible if the person uttering it can't carry it
out.
