Subject: keyboard question
I recently had my computer in the shop for repairs and upgrades.
While there, they lost my keyboard and replaced it with another
one. But this one has a new key located between the control and
alt keys on both sides which is supposed to be for use with
Windows 95. I was told by the technician that as long as there
was no Windows on my system this key would not be active. He was
wrong. Every time I accidently hit it, it locks up my computer
and the speech says all kinds of crazy things. Is there a way of
disabling this key via switch, batch file or whatever at least
until I get Windows on my system? I am told that the older
keyboards that do not have this key are a dying breed and we will
just have to live with these.
