That stuff hasn't changed lately. It is on UpDtCD.

That error does not necessarly mean the CD is not OK. I haven't done an
install since last spring - I just copy that when I get a new machine -
but is does work once you understand how to get by the glitch.

But you should install it. If you had a maintenance partition now you
wouldn't be going thru all this.
