Very true, Mike. All my ham friends were 'turned-on' with microprocessors
and single-board computers when they first came out.
I even still have my APPLE I, which I programmed to copy an early ham radio
RTTY net.

I find all caps difficult to read. I was delighted when lower-case
capability was added to home computers.
All the early RTTY transmissions were all caps.
