I was able to play one of the free intro episodes after signing up on the site. 
I am running:
ASUS A7V133, 900 MHz Athlon with 768 MB RAM
Matrox MGA450 with SNAP 3.1.8 driver
SBLive! value sound card with UniAud drivers
eCS 2.0 RC2
Mplayer dev-SVN-r26012-OS2-3.3.5 with the Windoze codecs

I clicked on the VoD icon for the first free episode, and it opened a new window 
with a film icon in the middle of a black area. I clicked on the icon and got 
the video after a wait of a minute or two (while mplayer fills buffers, I think).
