I'm not exactly alone but my little girl (12 going on 13 next month)
prefers going bra- and underwear-shopping with me because she gets away
with cuter (and more revealing) stuff than with her mam. Some weeks ago in
a Fred Meyers at Anchorage she insisted on trying several on and then get a
"dad's opinion". Actually, I felt honoured to be allowed into
that particular realm of evolving womanhood.
 
Honestly it doesn't bother me to go underwear- and lingerie-shopping with
my daughters. I like the puzzled looks at the sales ladies' faces I must
admit. My wife is bothered about it though, especially about the fact that
I have a bigger say in my daughters' wardrobes than she has.
 
Incidentally, my other daughter who turns 17 also next month prefers
clothes-shopping with me as well...  Now go and figure thatone out. ;-)
