| subject: | Re: Dreaded `OS/2 is unable to operate your hard disk` |
I used DFSee to clone the W2K wWarp 4.0 partition to the laptop. It
didn't work (OS/2 !! SYS01475).
As I understand it, BootManager won't work with vista, so I am stuck with
the Windows Bootloader which appears to work as OS/2 tries to boot, but
never gets off the ground apparently due to the system files missing
(according to the error message). I agree with the drive letter
assessment, but as I said, I have a chicken and egg problem in that I
haven't got a clue if OS/2 calls the Vista partition C: and the Warp 4.0 D:
or assigns C: to the Warp 4.0 partition which of course would cause the
"unable to operate".
