Check your CPU fans.  My dual Xeon 2.6GHz box was driving me nuts with
unexplained shutdowns.  Turns out that one of the CPU fans died, so that
processor was heating up to 90C.  Once I changed the fan out, it's run
perfectly ever since, running 24/7.
