According to the credits, Cassim was voiced by John Rhys-Davies. Don't
hit the rewind button so soon and you can learn all sorts of neat
stuff. 8:-)
And you're right--his voice has that almost familiar ring that bothered
me through half the film until I finally recognized who it was.
