I have thought about that. But then folks would loose out on the great
experience of installing MBSE from scratch.. :)
I know nothing about that but will investigate. Do you happen to know
any debian package maintainers? We would need one of those.
Michiel, does the idea of MBSE being installed from a .deb package or
even becoming a part of the debian archive sound good to you? It would
make installing/upgrading mbse a simple matter (on a debian box) if a
well behaved .deb can be made.

This just crept in recently. The default behaviour of su changed so that
the LOGNAME environment was also changed to root. As of the 0.82.33
tarball "make install" as root works as expected.
