You'll have to admit to yourself that wasn't very clever.

The key of the matter are not you or you lady, but the mere fact is is
NEW hardware.

You can't.

Told you already: it is completely senseless even to try to run W4 on
mode hardware.

To repeat myself alas again once more: that is completely senseless.

Of course it doesn't. In order to manage that 160 gig disk you need the
32 bit os2dasd.dmd file, which at his turn needs os2lvm.dmd and an
lvm-med system.

You need matching kernell files + os2dasd* files + matching *.add files
+ matching doscal1.dll files + quite a few others dll files and all that
must not only match each other but must be compatible with your hardware
too. Bottom line, you do need eCS 1.2 at least or better the latest RC4.

And I wonder why you were and are hiding at all costs the nature of the
hardware. As you revealed now at last, it's a NEW laptop. Meaning the
1st question to ponder about is: what about the video?
If this is a laptop with pcie internals (and likely it is), you would
be stuck to plain VGA 640x480x16 anyway, as the panorama driver that
might work with this laptop is tied to eCS (SNAP doesn't support new
hardware since about 1,5 years). You do know what type of video card it
is, don't you?

Purchase your self eCS now and you'll be entitled to download the tatest
RC4. That's the only sensible advise to be given and you are receiving
it once more.
