My election prediction.

 America will lose.

 I see little likelyhood this election will be a winner for
 America. There is only one result I see as good for the country,
 and that really less bad. If the democrats take the Senate and
 the republicans retain the house, by a slim majority, it might
 work out. But that is the result less likely to happen.

 If the republicans retain control of the congress, they will
 continue to run up debt, mismanage, and fight the wrong war,
 badly.

 If the democrats take the house, the most likely scenario,
 Bush's immigration plan will pass. The only thing stopping it
 now is the republican house is fighting it. I see Bush's
 "amnesty" plan, and that is what it is, as a likely disaster.
 And the democrats will give it the votes it needs.

 If the democrats take the senate, there will be a counterbalance
 to stop the worst of the abuses, but the house will still be
 able to block the immigration bill. I don't see that happening.

 This looks to be one of the worst elections I have yet seen. Oh
 well, maybe we will be pleasantly surprised. Think so?
