I hate to say this but I have less than ten hours of Linux experience. 
I have SUSE 10.3 a two disk set with book (about useless for me).  I
have it running after 5-6 re-installation.  I have no idea what the
second disk is for - probably applications.

I have no idea, the file is not downloadable.  The plugin it ask for is
(I think) application/x-mplayer2.

Firefox that came on the CD/DVD.  The way I found this, it is being
broadcaster through the local TC (technical college).  My discovery was
way into the course.   It is something sponsored by Anneberg Foundation
and comming to the TC via 'digital satellite channel, called the
"Annenberg Channel."'  

I could let my cat loose on Linux and probably do better than I.
