BTW, the Netcomm guy asked me the obvious question about your
modem - are you using the factory defaults? If you're not,
on the offchance you get this message before I go live with
the Netcomm, can you try it out?
BTW, he said that the "absolute factory default" was to go
AT&F.
That "." is actually a real fullstop you must type. Not only
that, but you shouldn't hit "enter" after typing the ".", just
let the modem do all that for you. That's what he said
