Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on a problem I'm having with my modem,
I can hear a very faint crackling type sound through my modem speaker sometimes
(the speaker volume is on 0) and then occasionally it well pause very briefly
and then suddenly drop carrier-i checked for loose connections and fixed a 
couple but it's still doing it, I think it's hardware related but it may not
be also I was wondering if anyone thinks it's to do with the modem or with
the modem cord -the modem is a Netcomm Roadster 144 and is still under waranty
(I've had it since about last August) and there haven't been any eletrical 
storms or anything like that recently and the modem is on a surge adapter, it 
hasn't been dropped or anything so I think it's a just a weird problem it's 
developed-hopefully it won't get worse because if it does I won't get your 
replies!
