Hi Matt,

Don't ask me, I'm just reporting what the sound man tells me, and what
I've seen. :)
MI> UGH! 500 too? I don't expect

Somebody thinks there is a harmonic connection.

That agrees with the echos I'm hearing.

Agreed, but since I've never heard the room without this EQ I have no
comparison.

Works for me, but I don't make the decisions. This has to be cheaper
and more effective first step, rather than buying a new system from
Apogee, that will still have room problems.
MI> DS> Another option was to get the Berringer DSP8000 EQ, so the band

The security lockable multiple EQ curves, the feedback filters and the
built in RTA is also part of the decision.
MI> First thing I would do is get ahold of a
MI> good RTA (or even a cheap one, in
MI> this
They have a cheap 10 band RTA, but it isn't hooked up, so the berringer
would be a better choice anyway.

The speakers are bolted to the ceiling (50 feet up), so repositioning
is a very big job! Two of the mid/high cabinets are aimed at the sides
of the room, which are the brick walls, so that is part of the problem.
MI> Chances are good someone else has screwed

I suspect your right, and that is why the security access to the
settings on the berringer is so appealing, assuming they can get it
set properly again.
MI> Determining which amps drive which
MI> speakers (or at least which range) is easy
True, but I haven't had that close of access, I just saw the rack in
the back room, and the crossover has a security plate over it.
