Could you please tell if the Avtek Vfast is the 28,800 speed
and
what kind of warranty does it have and do you do COD, within
Sydney or
where are you, as I might be able to pick it up and can you
please
reply ASAP, as I am thinking of buying a modem from a shop
in Sydney.

Also can you upgrade computers as I want to upgrade my
386sx16
computer with 40mb Hard Drive and two floppy drives, to a
386dx or a
486 with a 340mb Hard Drive, CD Rom Drive and replace the
larger
floppy drive with a tape back up unit, also my computer has
2,000,000 ram which I like to upgrade to 4,000,000 Ram.

Firstly, the Avtek Vfast IS 28800 and the warranty I think is 2 years parts
& labour. We have a store in Sydney, if you can leave me your details I
could either send you a list or call you about any discrepancies in pricing
etc.
        Secondly as for an upgrade, my advice would be to purchase a new
486 motherboard with a DX2/66 CPU. I quoted 290 for a 341 HDD (it could
have changed by the time you buy it). It also depends on what brand you
want, we carry Quantum, Maxtor, Western Digital and Seagate. We are also
offering the SB16 Discovery kit for $470 which has SB16 soundcard and
Double Speed CDROM.
Ram would also depend on how many pins your new motherboard supports.
Generally we sell 4meg Panasonic 72 pin for $265. Once again it would be
easier if you left me your details and I can get back to you with the
latest prices.
