Determining which amps drive which speakers (or at least which range) is easy 
enough.  First of all, the signal should go through an electronic crossover 
before it gets to the amps.  Second, you can just put a signal through the 
system (a tape or CD), then turn down/off all the amps, and bring one up at a 
time, listening to which range each covers.
