Don't bet on it.  Tel$tra have only a 10Mbit link to the US which they
would have us believe is more than enough.  Expert opinion states that we
need at least a 46Mbit link *minimum.*

Curtin Uni (up Perth way) has a 10Mbit link of their own and they say it's
not nearly fast enough.  They want a 38Mbit microwave link.

You could always track down an ISP with their own link to the US.  There
are quite a few nowadays.
