Just what is the butterfly effect, the notion of leverage exalted to 
mysticism?  You likely mean promote awareness, in which case, as he could 
speak New Age mumbo gumbo he could appeal to many New Agers.  Positive feed 
back loop just doesn't cut it except for the scientific literate.

This is not an easy problem.  Weight of the pendulum regards both gravity and 
imparting momentum need be considered.
