Thanks for getting back to me ! I do recall the Midol story but did not have
a chance yet to read your article. I can remember when I was a kid, everyone
wore saftey pins in their pants to taper them at the cuff. The teachers would
consider this a dress code violation and send us home for the day! Waste a
day of education because of a saftey pin?
Kids are going to basicly do what they want to do and especially if you tell
them its against the school policy to wear Hemp. If you take another approach
instaed of banning the hemp jewlery/ clothing you might get better results.
Another way could be to hold a drung information day. educating the students
about the many harms and benifits of drugs and also at the same time, take
the oppertunity to teach the students about Hemp. How its not just a "Get
high vehicle"and that it actually contains less than 1% THC and can not act
as a physco active drug. Thus demistifing Hemp to the students and giving
them other reasons to wear it other than its made from the same plant that
marijuana is derived!
If you wanta chat more, please feel free!
