Hmm... I think, i think i think... I think I am going to purchase an
nalog
4 track recorder next month (Musician's friend has payment plans I can
handle). :)
I'm almost sure I will invest in Tascam 414 portastudio. It has 4 tracks,
single cassette, can record 4 at a time. I mainly want to get it for
practice,
being a guitar player, I would like to lay down complicated chord
progressions
and then learn to solo over them and whatnot. Does anyone have one, if so, do
you like it? I would just like to make sure it is not a trojan turd before I
buy it. There ARE cheaper ones, like the Porta 03 MKII and the Fostex x-14
(Under $200), but I would like being able to record 4 tracks at a time incase
I ever decide I want to record friends. It has no XLR inputs, but I figure I
will survive. I won't be using this to churn out demos to send to industry
people. :)
Anybody know anything about the transport? Is it the same as one you would
find in a regular cassete recorder?
Thanks.
Hey, maybe I will be able to record for a echo tape someday!!
