I am french and I am using french accented characters. You can use
your codepage with Windows NT (I don't know if it works with Win95)
with the following instructions :
- Get your codepage (western europe is 1252 : Iso-Latin-1 )
- Open a Window console session with the Lucida Console font
- Change your code page : CHCP 1252
- Start TSE and enjoy !
However, note that special characters like drawing chars are not
displayed, they don't exist in the Lucida font. I know that the MS
Linedraw TT font is compatible with ISO-Latin-1 and drawing chars, but
I am still unable to use it in console window...
I have also a short macro to change the current codepage on the fly,
it works very well. Use CHCP with the Dos() command. I prefer this
second method because I can stil keep the drawing chars to TSE.
Have a nice day.
