Hello:
I've got a lot of stuff on my plate lately, so I thought I'd review the
list in order that anyone who's been following it can put it all into
perspective (ie. when are you gonna do what you said you'd do!? ;)
Here's the long and the short of it:
1. I'm currently coordinating the beta testing phase of LPM
Professional -- this is a $60,000 commerical project that will
eventually lead to the completion of the Fermat project that was
announced earlier this year. This project gets first priority. It is
currently in beta. (The code is written, the testers are in line, the
finishing touches on the help file are being written now.) This project
was delayed because I had to go back to my code and spruce it up with
all the trimmin's when PB 3.2 was released so quickly after 3.1.
(Couldn't resist the trimmin's....)
2. MondoLib will be beta'd AFTER the LPM beta phase is over. MondoLib
will be a library that will include many of the PD utils I've released,
as well as the following utils that I've never released:
JamPlay -- play PLAY statements over the AdLib
REDIM_PRESERVE -- redimension 12 of the 14 native PB datatypes
    EMS routines
    MOUSE routines
    and more
3. Fermat will continue development throughout this -- and once LPM is
beta'd, serious work on transformations will begin -- with beta and
alpha testing being done.
4. I'm going to write a book on PowerBASIC programming (beginner to
advanced). The book will be released as an .EXE for DOS so I can
protect my intellectual property (see my gripe about the FAQ theft for
reason why). No date on this. It'll happen -- just gotta find the time.
5. I *won't* be writing the PB FAQ I promised, in light of my recent
discovery of a QB FAQ of mine that had been anonymized.
So.... first comes LPM Pro 1.0, then comes MondoLib for PB, then comes
Fermat, then the book. In that order.
Busy, busy, busy, busy....
BTW, people have asked about ZMODEM for PowerBASIC. My brother Shane
located a library that includes ZMODEM source code (for PowerBASIC). We
haven't tested it yet, but it seems reasonable -- it requires an .OBJ
file and costs money to register and get a version of the .OBJ without a
nag, but if anyone would like to know where to get these files, let me
know.

Cheers,
Jamshid "The Overworked and Underpaid" Khoshrangi
