You must be using the old v1.x of PKZIP for OS/2.  PKWare has a 
new version in beta that supports the v2.x compression 
algorithms, but the InfoZip group has had v2.x compatible 
ZIP/UNZIP utilities for OS/2 available for several years 
already.
