Music lessons !!  Your asking a good one. The running joke when I was playing 
with the Blind Mississippi Morris Band was that if you could combine Scott's 
therory and understanding of music with Mark's fire, you would have a hell of 
a guitarist !!
I basically play by ear, not to say I don't understand my chords, scales, and 
basic modes, but the only reading I do is tab..
But no problem, I'm always willing to share what I know. That's how you all 
get better !
I studied under Shawn Lane for aawile, which gave me a fantastic appreciation 
for what the guitar could do, but he was so far advanced that I was more in 
awe of his playing than I was in learning to play similar to him...
I've recently bought a house in East Memphis, the Yates / WhiteStation area, 
and I have turned a room into a dedicated music room. My neighbors are ok 
with it, it's pretty sound proofed, so I can carry on pretty well.
So, what kind of music are you interested in?  What stles do you like to play
