Huh? Who-what-which-why is called "spook" in a derogatory
context? Please edify me!
BTW, a fairly decent horse at the barn where I board is named Spook.
I would have expected Arizona to be more free of pol-corr than
most. Who's next, Texas?!?
The Manitoba Museum of Man and Nature here in Winnipeg was at a
centre of some stupid controversy a few years back. Some poor
misguided souls thought the name sexist; fortunately it petered
out, mainly, I think, because some funding was tied to the name
as it stands.
