They have identified some genetic commonalties among a percentage of the male 
children of alcoholics.  There is also now evidence that alcohol consumption 
affects the development of sperm.  I wouldn't read too much into that, 
though, since I would suspect that you'd get gross damage to the fetus from 
anything that happened in the father's body, rather than the wide range of 
things that can happen as the fetus is exposed to various things at various 
times in its development.
I don't have specific citations, but I can tell you that a search of the 
Science News archives should turn them up.
