| subject: | Gibson`s passion misplacd |
Alex Beam's article, "Is Mel Gibson's Film Passion For Jesus
Misplaced" was certainly misplaced in the Living&Arts section
of today's Boston Globe. It reads more like an Editorial page
item than a news article too big to be repeated here; as one
can see by pointing ones favorite internet browser to:
_ for_Jesus_misplaced_+shtml
I found it interesting that Gibson's family are cited as members
of a super traditionist brand of Catholicism. His father was quoted
stating "that the reformist Vatican II Council was a Masonic plot
backed by the Jews". I wonder if this traditionist group similar to
the Bible thumping Protestant radical groups one generaly finds south
ofthe Mason-Dixon line?
The film certainly will be an interesting movie to be seen some
hot, muggy sleepless night there isn't any thing better to do.
Ciao, Ack.
