Hey dude,  if there is not a track in your area you might want to
think about a parking lot type of car,  4wd sadans (Rally Cars)
are really getting popular.  Have you picked up a copy of Car Action
lately?  HPI makes one called the RS4 thats real hot.
If you have a place to make your own off road track you might want
a LOSI XX or XXT,  or a RC10B2 or T2.
Luckily,  I have a track near my house (7 miles away) that has an
indoor carpet track and an outside dirt oval.  On the dirt oval
they race RC10s with northeastern modified bodies (Mostly Homemade)
and foam tires.  Its really neat.
I just put a pan car togeather for the indoor track but I need a little
more practice/tuning before I try to race with the "Big Boys",  there
are some pretty good drivers around here.
