Well since nobody else in the group wants to stand up to these two who 
have taken over - probably because they might have to do some work 
there too - I have to assume that the group conscience in this case is 
apathy.  And if people are so apathetic that they let these two guys do
all the work, maybe they SHOULD run it.  
I know one thing, if I were to assume me and my friend make up the 
group conscience by ourselves, I would be just as bad as the two who 
are pushing their weight around - at least that is the conclusion I 
have come to.
