I had a discussion over t'weekend with a mate from the aircraft industry
wrt dreadnoughts etc.

Small illustrative story:

Some swiss aerobatic people have invented a very very good new G-suit.
Basically it's different from all others in that it is a tight fitting suit
filled with liquid. The liquid can flow about the place & the suit has
no "give" i.e. the fabric is very strong.

You can only lose blood from your head if the rest of your body can expand
& this prevents that.

All in all a mile ahead of current G-suits.

However it seems to only takers at the minute are the germans as everyone
else has said in effect "20 years ago you'd have a winner but
today.....electronics don't need g-suits".
