What I really fail to understand is the "terrorist" threat part.
Given terrorists are usually "non-state actors" quite how is a
SSBN going to deter them? Who are you going to nuke if islamic radicals
from 5 different states (& are against all five state govs) get hold of
russian fissile material & semi-explode a device in London?


I'm just surprised he didn't manage to get paedophiles into it
somehow...."We need son of Trident to deter Paedophiles" is just
as convincing as the terrorist angle.
