I'm using a SUPRAFAX 288 external, and I'm having trouble connecting to two 
mail feeds, both of which are using USR modems.  My Binkley log shows the 
following:
RINGING
Carrier 21600
Protocol: Lap-M
Compression: V.42Bis
No Carrier
About 1 in 12 times the connection will go through and send mail.  There is 
one other SysOp in our net having this problem, and he is using a SUPRAFAX 
288 external as well.  Has anyone else seen this before?  And what can I do 
to fix it?
