JE> Scout in this troop. There are other adults that

This is a common problem I ran into as a Roundtable Commissioner (oh yes, I
was also a Unit Commissioner). The "former" Boy Scouts, particualrly the
ones whom had earned their Eagle Scout, felt they knew everything, and did
not bother reading the material. Things are different from a Leader
perspective as opposed to a boy perspective.
JE> boys? We'll see what happens by the end of the

Get out with your son and go to another Troop... PDQ!
JE> So in parting Dave, your comments above are 100% on target and you are

Go right ahead. Mention I was a Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner and a Unit
Commissioner with the Comanche Trail Council, BSA. That should open a few
eyes. I also have my Bachelor of Commissioner Science from the Texas Trail
College of Commissioner Science.
Good Luck and Good Scouting.
