        Most of the stuff I have found on video boards are about 
        JPEG and M-JPEG. There seems to be some confusion on how
        well these systems work and if they give the quality that 
        we the PC user really want or except.

        You might look at the Truevision TARGA 2000 board, MATROX 
        Illuminator-pro board and Digital Processing Systems Inc. DPS DR-2100
        These systems are from what I hear the top of the line for this
        kind of stuff. 
        Let me know if you hear of anything else out there that is any good
        for the digital video market.
... All I need is a Wave and a video board to surf it on.
