No, I am not completely off-topic. I am looking for a few facts to refine a 
batch I've written:
There is an Arthur C. Clarke SF story called `The Nine (?) Billion Names of 
God` or something very close. I am sorry to say I've lost the book, but you 
should read it if you can get it. The fact's I am looking for:
Is 9.nnn.nnn.nnn (9 billion something) correct?
How many characters must the names have?
Any limitation on the number of characters in that language (26 okay?)
Let us get this right and we might soon have those effects described at the 
end of that story ;-))
