Has nothing to do with USAF landing rights, we negotiate on a case by case basis as does the RAF, Canadian AF, Danish AF, etc. This is all about European energy. Most of Europe is coming to the realization that they have their head so far up Putin's ass that are blinded to what he is doing at home and in some, yet unproven cases abroad. What has happened to the Russian press makes a newspaper eviction and TV station closure look like child's play. I actually read a quote by a UK politician that this Litvinenko "problem" will blow over cause the UK/Russian relationship is too important. Why so important?
