Jim,

You were correct.  The os2ldr.msg was probably the one from the
original Warp 4 CD.  I replaced it with the one from the hard drive
and now I can boot diskette #0.  Unfortunately, at diskette #2, OS/2
dies with "cannot operate your hard drive"
