The Edel 665 had a smaller sister, the 540, an 18-footer. It really had
only a cuddy cabin. I never sailed one but a former owner tells me it
was very good in a heavy sea. Again it was spacious for its size,
largely due to having a relatively wide beam. I think 540s go for about
$5,000, 665s, from $7,000 to about $10,000. But don't take my word for
those figures! Good hunting.
