High! Bob,
Ref: Wordbasic / .dot problem, dd.12-Mar-97, from: Bob Davis
JvH>> -Launching Word with the /t option (to start Word and use

JvH>> specified document (a template) is merely opened (and selfstarting
JvH>> macro are excecuted correctly).
BD> Please give the exact command you are using. I've tested this
BD> and it works fine for me. The syntax is of the form:
STRPCCMD "C:\MSOFFICE\WINWORD\WINWORD.EXE /t F:\APPS\WFBAS.DOT"
JvH>> To implement this I designed an AutoOpen macro that
BD> Autoopen applies to opening an existing document. With the /t
BD> command you are creating a new document from the template and
BD> should use the autonew macro stored in the template.
Right, but since the command resulted in opening the template, instead
of creating a new document from the template, I had to rename it to
AutoOpen.
I don't mind Word not to create a new document, but I do mind the fact
that I cannot close Word from one of the macro's. I also do mind that
toolbars disappear when I open another document.
PS. I won't dump the macro's in here, unless you want me to, for they
are quite lenghty (7 pages A4).
