Why did you feel it necessary to add that line? You of all people should know
that the speed of tape drives don't depend on the software controlling it.
Mine hits a maximum of around 13.5 meg a minute. And that's all it is capable
of. No more.
BTW, does FastBack have DOS and Windows versions too? And are they
interchangeable?

Needing to either open another window to use a different type of program, or
use HSTART. Windows runs DOS and text mode Win32 programs in the one box.
