 The Melb PC User Group has dozens of these and they have been
 dropping like flies for months despite the best efforts of the
 sysops and precious little support from Netcom.  It's very
 dificult to recommend them over the Courier's which are the most
 widely used and recommended commercial modem in the USA
 (world?).

 The fact that you seem to be one of few complainants both on
 Fido and the Internet says something......but what?  I'll leave
 that to you and others to mull over.
