Well, let's assume an Amiga is an ordinary computer (actually it is not, of
course :-)), how is that: Write a track with certain invalid MFM data to a
floppy disk. Then on subsequent reads the hardware will stumble over the
invalid MFM codes and will read "randomly" 0es or 1es at certain
locations. (It has been done as a copy protection for a game as the read
data was valid MFM code that would not flicker if copied and read again.)

Would that qualify as truly random?

Ciao, Bernhard!
