subject: NEW 01/12/95 Code (For Aussie Couri

Hi Steven,

[Thus spake Steven Anderson unto Sunny Leung:]

SL> SA> I have here the NEW US code that will load on the AUSSIE Courier
 SA>
 SA> ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
SL> I downloaded this file and noticed that it's a hacked version of the
SL> November US/Canada code. Does anyone know when the official Austel
 SA> Well, I said it was the US code didn't I... :)

OK, you did. But if I were to be pedantic I would say that USR code is
always from the US, whether it's Austel approved or not :-)

SL> approved, Aussie version of the code (i.e. the hobbled, emasculated
 SL> version ) will arrive?
SA> Nope.. USR seems a bit slow with Australian versions :(

That's true. After hearing that several people have been running your
hacked US/Canada 11/95 code without problems, I eventually loaded the
code onto my own Courier. Things seem to be running smoothly so far

BTW, what are those damned beep beep tones (you know, like the sounds
trucks make when they reverse) that are emitted by the Courier when it
makes a connect? The 18/7/95 code never made these beeping noises while
the 5/7/95 code did.

Sunny
